Cancer detection from a blood sample

I came across this article in WIRED by Tina Nova at Illumina.  The company is building a library of tumor DNA that circulates in the blood stream.

The Future of Cancer Treatment is (Almost) Here | WIRED.

This library will allow identification of cancer cells by liquid biopsies.  The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has a nice infographic about the process.
